Whether you're waving your hand or stomping your foot, the amount of light that reaches the LDR can affect the amount of expression.

Let your ambient envrionment affect your ambient pedal soundscapes with the Pedal Brainz 3rd Eye, a compact light-controlled expression pedal. Unlike their feature-packed Left Brain's internal photoresistor, the 3rd Eye features a window to directly access the light dependent resistor at its core. The result is a fun alternative to typical expression pedals—expression is controlled by light that reaches the LDR. You can further tweak the response with a 3-position range switch, and a Scale control on the side—this also functions as a manual expression control when using the side-mounted bypass switch.
